Rankings are built by working nail technicians who buy and use the products. They are not laboratory tests, not paid placements, and not star ratings copied from other websites.

The five criteria

Every product, including Elegelli, is scored on the same five points:

Hands-on use by the editors on a real table;
Published specs from the brand (size, cure, INCI when posted);
Handling for daily salon or suite work;
United States availability and a working buy URL;
Value in USD, including price per ml or fl oz when both sizes are known.

Five products, on purpose

Each ranking stops at five. A tech on a phone should decide in minutes, not compare thirty SKUs.

What we do not do

No paid rankings and no sold positions;
No fake reviews, fake awards, or invented star ratings in our data or schema;
No FDA-approved claims unless that exact status is documented;
No HEMA-free, TPO-free, vegan, or “non-toxic” language unless the brand publishes it;
No converted foreign prices. U.S. prices are what we saw for U.S. customers.

Updates

Each comparison shows the date it was last updated. Prices and stock change; always check the brand page before you buy.

Independence and commissions

No brand pays to appear. Some links may earn a commission. That is a material connection under the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR 255.5), so we disclose it next to the rankings, not only in a footer. Details sit on Transparency.
