How we work
How the site works
-
We use the professional lines
Published specs, handling on a real table, U.S. availability, and value in USD: the same five criteria on every product, including Elegelli.
-
We rank five products, max
No 40-product roundups. Each comparison keeps five references, with strengths, limits, and an indicative U.S. price when we could verify one.
-
You decide in a few minutes
A direct answer at the top, a comparison table, and a short buying guide, written to read on a phone between clients.

FAQ
Four questions, straight answers
What is Nail Product Lab?
Nail Product Lab is an independent comparison site for professional nail products sold in the United States. We rank builder gels, rubber bases, gel nail polish, primers, UV LED lamps, e-files, polygel, drill bits, and dust collectors for nail techs and salons.
How are the rankings built?
The site is owned by working nail technicians. We buy and use the products we rank, then score published specs, handling on a real table, United States availability, and value in USD. Each ranking is capped at five products. No brand pays for a position. The Methodology page has the full scoring notes.
Is Nail Product Lab independent?
Yes. We are not a storefront and no brand pays to appear or to move up a ranking. Some outbound links may earn a commission if you buy through them. That does not buy a rank. The Transparency page has the full disclosure, including FTC-style material-connection language.
Who are these comparisons for?
Licensed nail technicians, salon and suite owners, and trained techs who buy professional products in the United States. We write for all 50 states. We do not pretend to have a U.S. office or a local salon.
